Alberta Aviation Museum Temporarily Closed During Alberta’s Mandatory Lockdown

Effective December 13, 2020, The Alberta Aviation Museum and its event facility will be closed to the public in accordance with mandatory lockdown set forth by the Alberta Government and Alberta Health Services.  The museum recognizes the necessity of this move to protect those most vulnerable and the integrity of our hospitals and healthcare supports amidst 2nd wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We will continue to stay current on the ongoing developments and public recommendations from Alberta Health.  As a team, we will review the status of the situation on January 30th to determine next steps and the feasibility of re-implementing former levels of operating capacity

We are confident that if we all play our part, we will resume operations in the coming weeks.  In the meantime, there are many ways patrons can continue to support the museum, whether it be the online purchase of a museum membership, or a one-time or monthly donation. This will help allow us to continue to celebrate Alberta’s rich aviation history when we are able to meet again.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@albertaaviationmuseum.com.

We isolate now

So when we gather again

No one is missing.
