Hangar 14 Update: September 1st
As we transition into cooler weather, it comes as a welcome relief after an incredibly busy and successful hot summer at the museum. Our six-week-long summer camps were filled to capacity, and the high volume of guest tours made the season fly by. We’re also excited to share that our recently introduced birthday party events have quickly become a popular addition, drawing more families to the museum. Admissions continue to be strong, keeping us busy and energized as we look ahead.

T-Bird Transformation
The latest addition to aircraft on display at the Alberta Aviation Museum is a Canadian-built Canadair CT-33 Silver Star jet trainer formerly used by the Royal Canadian Air Force. Commonly known as a T-33, or T-Bird it is a type flown by the RCAF from 1953- 2005 and now bears a one-of-a-kind livery that celebrates the centennial of the RCAF, formed on April 1, 1924.
