Poppy Beading Workshop

Join us for a meaningful day of creativity, storytelling, and remembrance with Lorrie Lawrence of the Indigenous Artist Market Collective.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create your own beaded poppy while learning about the significance of Remembrance Day.

As you bead, Lorrie will also share stories of Indigenous veterans and their contributions to Canada’s military history, offering an opportunity to learn, reflect, and connect through art and storytelling.

Workshop Fee: $65 per person

No previous beading experience is required. All materials are provided.

Please bring your own lunch. You are also welcome to order food for delivery or pick something up at Real Canadian Superstore, located directly across the street from the museum.
