Fokker Universal

Built in 1928, this Fokker Universal was purchased by New York City resident Reuben
Daniel Silliman for $14,200 and used to fly between his Sheffield estate and New York
City. The plane was damaged after landing on a soft spot of ground, causing it to nose
over and twist the frame. The Alberta Aviation Museum will restore the Fokker Universal
in years to come.
