Built in 1979, the aircraft was used by Pacific Western Airlines and transferred between
different airliners, until it was donated to the Alberta Aviation Museum in 2005. During
its time at the museum, it was rented out by the RCMP and Edmonton City Police for
training, Emergency Response Teams, the NAIT avionics program, photo sessions,
weddings, and television productions. Just before the City Centre Airport closed in 2013,
the airplane was flown to Villeneuve Airport where it has stayed since.
