Yeehaw meets aviation! Get ready for a fun-filled evening at the Alberta Aviation Museum where RC aviation, aviation history and rodeo spirit come together for one unforgettable event.
Inspired by the daring barnstorming pilots of aviation’s early days, Barnstorming Bonanza brings the excitement indoors with RC airplanes taking to the air inside our Event Hall. Watch skilled hobby pilots put their flying skills to the test with impressive manoeuvres and demonstrations.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! Explore the Museum after hours, discover historic aircraft throughout our galleries, and enjoy a variety of rodeo-themed family activities. And of course, no Bonanza would be complete without a little friendly competition — dress up in your best rodeo outfit and enter our Rodeo Costume Contest! Kids and adults are welcome to join in.
