New Shelves for the Archives!

Thanks to a generous grant provided by the Government of Canada – Department of Canadian Heritage’s Museum Assistance Program, Assistant Curator Ryan Lee purchased new sliding shelving for one of the archival storage rooms here at the museum. The new wire shelves rest on tracks on the ground, allowing the shelves to be easily slid together. The new shelves have almost doubled the storage capacity of the room and have allowed the curators to move a significant portion of the collection into the improved storage room.
