Alberta Aviation Museum Remains Open at 25% Capacity and Closed Rental Facilities

Effective November 25, 2020, in accordance with the conditions set forth by the Alberta Government and Alberta Health Services, The Alberta Aviation Museum will remain open from Thursdays – Sundays with advance timed-entry tickets being sold at 25% capacity of the Alberta Fire Code.  The museum’s rental facilities will be closed to community events until further notice.  The protection of the health and safety of our patrons and staff are of the utmost importance amidst this 2nd wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We thank our supporters, as well as our healthcare providers who are weathering the storm on the frontlines.  We ask that everyone take the necessary recommended precautions to keep family and friends safe, so that we may return more resilient for the holidays.

We will continue to stay current on the ongoing developments and public recommendations from Alberta Health.  As a team, we will review the status of the situation on December 15th to determine next steps and the feasibility of re-implementing former levels of operating capacity.

As a museum, we will continue to share history and stories from Blatchford Field online through our social media channels.  We also ask to consider supporting the museum and the community as we continue to carry out our Santas Anonymous and Giving Tuesday donation campaigns at this time.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@albertaaviationmuseum.com.
