Filming & Photography Information
The Museum welcomes the public and the media in the galleries and collections, and we try to accommodate requests to photograph, video tape, or film in the galleries whenever possible.
The museum allows filmmakers and photographers to photograph objects or exhibits or use the galleries as a backdrop only with prior permission from the Museum, and with the payment of a fee.
When is filming and photography allowed?
Currently, due to COVID-19 restrictions, filming and photography at the museum are permitted only when the museum is closed to the public, and if there are no conflicting events or activities.
Filming and photography are allowed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays for a maximum of 8 hours per day between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00PM.
*After hour bookings may be accommodated please contact our Facility Rental Coordinator*
- Full day rates: $1,500 + GST (8 hours maximum)
- Half day rates: $750 + GST (4 hours maximum)
- Mini session (Photography ONLY): $250 + GST (2.5 hours maximum)
Payment must be received in full 30 days prior to the reserved date.
Rates include access to the space and free parking.
Special access request, if approved, are subject to additional fees.
A deposit of $250.00 is required for all Full Day and Half Day bookings. A deposit of $100.00 is required for Mini Session photography bookings. Deposits are fully refundable after the event date.

Requests must be submitted a minimum of 30 days prior to the reserved date to ensure all payments and contracts are processed.
