A Wop May Night at the Museum
Presented by YEG Honeycomb for the Edmonton Historic Festival and Doors Open 2022
Saturday, July 9, 2022

This first-ever exclusive experience at the Alberta Aviation Museum will see its historic hangar come alive at night. Celebrate an evening of story-telling, live entertainment, VIP concessions, bush pilot dining, and a premiere of the film, Blind Ambition: The Wop May Story

Prepare for an elegant welcome as you walk through the doors of the historic Hangar 14, greeted with a Wop May IPA from Edmonton Brewing & Malting Company which will be making its debut at the event.

Featuring locally-curated grazing table as part of the bush pilot dining theme.

Alberta Aviation Museum premiere of the short movie, “Blind Ambition: The Wop May Story” will take place in several screenings, along with VIP movie concessions as part of your ticket purchase.

Engage with the award-winning film’s Director, Frederick Kroetsch, who will be speaking about the film throughout the evening.

Stroll through the new Alberta Aviation Museum garden surrounding the resident YEG Honeycomb hives. Engage in conversation with bee experts and how you can continue to support this city-wide sustainable historic initiative.

Music and entertainment will be intertwined throughout the museum’s towering exhibits.  There will be so much to explore and more!
