The Halifax Bomber: Bringing the Legend Back to Life

The Alberta Aviation Museum 2019 Speaker Series gets underway January 24 with a look at the efforts underway by the Halifax 57 Rescue Society Canada.
Karl Kjarsgaard is the project manager and director of this effort to bring a rare Halifax bomber, flown by so many Canadians and Allied airmen during the Second World War, back to Canada. Kjarsgaard is also a director of the Bomber Command Museum in Nanton, home to Lancaster FM-159.
The event starts at 7:00pm with doors opening at 6:30pm. Admission is $8 for members and $10 for non-members, available online or at the door.
